1099 Information for US Affiliates
1099 Information for US Tax Payers.
Recent changes in tax laws have created some new challenges in how your income is reported as an Affiliate.
If you are receiving commissions via online processors such as Payza and Paypal, we did not file a 1099-MISC with the IRS.
If you received more than $600 in income via check for the year 2012, we filed a 1099-MISC with the IRS and you should have received your copy, by now.
This does not change your responsibility to report your income to the IRS. It simply changes our reporting requirements as a corporation.
To see your total commissions paid for 2012, you can log in to your back office, click “Affiliate Manager” then click “Affiliate Reporting”.
There, you will click “Commission Info” to view the Year To Date totals for 2012. The number you see there is the number you will report to the IRS.
As an Independent Affiliate (IA) of TrafficWave.net, you agree that you are operating as an independent contractor and are not subject to withholding, nor entitled to any other benefits, entitlements, or accommodations other than those legally provided for in the compensation plan.
All liabilities for taxes, record keeping, reporting of state, national, or local taxes and/or licenses will be the sole responsibility of the IA.
