I think of my own autoresponder as a 24/7 lead generating and followup system. I focus on driving traffic to my capture pages. The copy on those capture pages helps me sort visitors in to prospects. From there, my autoresponder sorts through those who are interested to find those who are ready to take action.
Those prospects who decide they are no longer interested can simply remove themselves with the click of their mouse. Those who are interested keep receiving my messages. The autoresponder helps me build that relationship so that, when they are ready to buy, they can feel like they are buying from someone they know, like, and trust.
