2. Make sure your content is relevant and personal.
When someone joins your list, they are looking for something. Your offer to send them information touched them on a level that made them want to give you their name and email address. You’ve begun building a responsive list. The next step is to make sure they are getting what you offered. Keep your content relevant to providing a solution. Make your content stand out by personalizing the subject line and the message content.
3. Keep it real.
Make sure your offer gives genuine value to your recipients. Don’t over exaggerate claims. Don’t make income claims. Do share real success stories and experiences. You want to establish yourself as a credible resource that your readers can trust.
Building a responsive list that buys doesn’t have to be complicated. Your advertising and promotional goals are to get your offers in front of as many eyeballs as possible.
