Email Campaign Management Matters
Email campaign management matters. It’s a big factor in your overall success. Are your messages being opened? Are your links being clicked? Which links are getting the most response?
Knowing the answers to these questions can help you make important decisions to improve the effectiveness of your email marketing campaigns.
Email Campaign Management Tips
Email marketing can appear to be complicated. But, when you really break it down, there are a few key elements you want to make sure you are on top of. This article is designed to help you identify and manage those elements.
Welcome Your Subscribers
When someone fills out your form to request your information, you have the option of setting up a custom confirmation message. You can let them know what to expect from you, greet them, and invite them to confirm with some sort of special offer or discount. When they click the confirmation link, direct them to your special offer via a custom landing page.
Build a Relationship
If you can craft your messages so that you are able to build a bond with your subscribers, your success rate is going to go up. Your subscribers are already interested in your offer. Take some time to show them how your offer can help them solve a problem, answer a question, get something done that they need to get done.
They are going to decide to do business with someone. They are more likely to do business with someone they feel they know and can trust. Don’t just build a list. Build a relationship.
Monitor Your Results
Email campaign management comes down to doing what you can to impact results, tracking those results, and then testing to see what will improve those results. With TrafficWave’s autoresponder system, you can track your open rates, click through rates, and areas of interest.
Knowing how many people opened your message lets you see how effective your subject line is. Knowing who didn’t gives you the opportunity to send a message directly to them with a subject line written to re-engage their interest.
Knowing how many people clicked your links is great. Knowing which links they clicked is even more powerful. This shows you what is capturing their attention in your message. You may be able to change your message formatting to increase your overall engagement.
You can also tag subscribers based on particular interests and activities, following up with more targeted and focused content for those subscribers.
All of these options and more are available to you in your TrafficWave account. Learn More Here.

Have just set up my auto-responder (Amateur!) with some letters. Have also placed my Trafficwave link in them. The Trafficwave link appears in blue, as active. My own link to my site does not ? Why?

Without seeing the letter, it would be impossible to know. You will want to open a support ticket with the details so our team can look at it for you. In the meantime, double check that you have typed and set up the URL correctly. Sometimes, it’s a simple typing error that makes things go “off” for us.
