Email List Growth – Track For Maximum Impact

email list growthEmail List Growth is the core focus of all my advertising and promotion. I want to get eyeballs on my content, of course. But the next step after someone sees my information is that they should request more information by filling out my capture form. This is when things begin to happen.

Someone filling out that form is them telling me, “I want to know more about what you can do for me.”. My next goal is to help them understand how I can help them, provide a solution, and build rapport. My autoresponder letters begin following up automatically to make all of that happen.

How do I track my email list growth? I log in to my TrafficWave back office on a regular basis to see how things are going. Here is one of my own campaign reports:

When I look at this report, I see that the total active subscriber count is 13,586.

I can see my email list growth as I view the lines across the graph. For example, I see that Oct 1 saw two new subscribers and 1 unsubscribe request.

I also see that Oct 18, 19, and 20th had no new subscribers. In this case, I will be checking my ad resources, safe lists, traffic exchanges, etc… to see if anything needs to be adjusted. Sometimes, an ad campaign just completes and needs to be renewed. Other times, I may need to try different ad copy to see if I can beef up my email list growth.

The key to consistent success is to make sure you take consistent action. Even if you spend just 20  minutes per day, consistently posting on social media, running ads, participating in surf exchanges, etc… you are taking consistent action. Of course, an hour or two per day is even more action but the important thing is to take some level of daily consistent action to constantly drive your email list growth. (This is how I personally refer over 50 new users, each month.)
