Email Marketing and Social Media – Competitors or The Perfect Combo?
Email marketing and social media should be at the forefront of your marketing efforts for your business. But, which one should you focus on more? Is one better than the other? Truth is, they are the perfect combo when used together in the right way.
The beauty of email marketing and social media is that they can be used together to capture audience attention, build your prospect lists, build rapport with prospects and customers, and … of course … drive sales for your business.
For us, the overall idea is pretty simple. Any time we create a social media post, whether on LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook, we make sure the post includes a link back to a page with a capture form on it.
Our LinkedIn profile has over 4,300 connections as of August 31, 2020.
Our Instagram profile has 883 followers as of August 31, 2020.
Our Twitter account has 9,912 followers as of August 31, 2020.
Our Facebook account has 12,589 followers and 12,649 page likes as of August 31, 2020.
These are all opportunities to put our message in front of people who have specifically expressed an interest.
Our Email List has over 14,050 subscribers and grows daily.
When we send out a message to our email subscribers, we include a link back to our blog and our social media channels. When we post in our social media channels, we include a link back to our blog which includes our capture form code.
Between these channels, we are able to constantly generate new leads, follow up with prospects, build rapport, drive sales, and communicate more efficiently.
Email Marketing and Social Media make great partners and should be used together as often as possible.
