Email Marketing – Avoid $$$ to Get The Money

get the moneyWant to get the money in email marketing? One of the keys is avoiding “$$$” in your Email Marketing subject lines and body.

You hate spam.

Your prospects and customers hate spam.

Let’s face it: Pretty much everybody hates spam.

So it just makes sense that if you’re going to launch a successful email marketing campaign, avoid looking like a spammer. (Hopefully, we don’t actually need to tell you not to spam, right?)

Many email programs and services have filters in place. Settings are either managed by the individual recipient, an automated anti-spam tool, through their ISP, or just manually deleting anything that even looks “spammy”.

So do yourself, your subscribers, and your business a favor and avoid common gimmicky nonsense in your subject line and message body to help your messages avoid the trash bin. This makes it much easier to get the money when it comes to email marketing.

    Thanks for the post Brian.
This is something that you would think would be obvious. But I get some of those types every day. And yes the subject line is key. If they don’t open it. They do not see your offer.

Exactly. I’m stunned at the number of times I see stuff like this come across my inbox. Makes me want to hit “reply” and ask, “Are you kidding me with this stuff?!?
