Does Your Email Marketing Look Good?
Does your email marketing look good when it arrives? Making your email marketing look good across various email programs is one of the biggest challenges for email marketers. Each major email provider has their own way of handing some formatting. If your email marketing messages are set to look like a standard email using just a text format, your messages probably look the same across all of the platforms. But if you are using headers, footers, tables, and graphics, you run the risk of having some of your messages look different to various subscribers, depending on what service they are using.
What I did was create email accounts in various services such as yahoo, gmail, aol, etc…
I subscribed to each of my autoresponder campaigns using each of these email addresses.
I also added each of these email addresses to my account so I can proofread my messages.
It took a few minutes to set it all up, but now, when I create new letters, I can quickly proofread them across multiple formats. And since I am subscribed to my own email marketing campaigns, I can keep up with how my messages look as the follow up messages are going out.
The time you take to make your email marketing look good can pay off with big returns for your lead generation and sales process.

Hi Brian
It’s the simple things isn’t it. I see so many over complicate it. I like to setup my autoresponders with their own look, then I know where it came from. I also like it to have nice and pleasant layout, I like to have a nice 16 size and neat font. I get so tired of squinting to try and read some emails that I just hit unsubscribe lots of the time. If I do that, I am sure others do that as well.
Great tip for testing it in different mailing systems.
Thank You
James

Nice info Brian.
I will have to check out the proofread via email. I have not used that yet..
When I set up a new campaign, I am always the first to sign up for the list..
This way I get all the letters in the campaign to make sure they were all
done ( spelling, links etc) correctly..
I did not think to use multiple email platforms..

Thanks Brian, That is a great Idea. What is the use of sending out emails
that look bad and unprofessional? Nice method to see that they are what
you want and not just what you thought you were sending.
