Why is personalization so important in email marketing? It’s always nice when someone calls you by name and email marketing is no exception.
When your readers see their name in the subject line, the chances of your email message being opened improves dramatically. And getting your message opened by the reader is the first step to getting your readers to take action.
We highly recommend using the personalization tokens in your autoresponder campaigns to greet your readers by name and give them a personal touch..

Has additional personalization shown to be beneficial. Such as adding their phone number “John can reach you at 123-456-7890” or their home based business? Or is that to much?

Hi, Willie.
I’m not quite following. How would this example apply in an email marketing message?
It seems to be more of a Call To Action but I’m not really clear without some context.
Personalization is more about identifying the recipient by name so that they can feel more connected to you, the sender.
Providing specific instruction by telling them to call you and giving your number is an excellent example of a Call To Action.
