Are you wondering how to succeed with email marketing? You’re not alone. The key is to follow three basic steps. When you follow and then master these steps, your business will grow. Ready to learn more?
The steps are:
Step 1: Build Your List This includes setting up capture pages, adding capture forms to your web site or blog, and driving traffic to your forms. If you have a brick and mortar business, don’t hesitate to ask your guests and customers if they would like to receive your email updates, special offers, coupons, etc… via email. For more tips on building your list, check out How To Collect Subscribers For Email Marketing.
Step 2: Build a Relationship With Your List Once you’ve begun collecting subscribers, the temptation is to try and sell to them right away. The best approach is to build a rapport with your subscribers. Let them know how your product or service can help them solve a problem. Your followup messages should include a mix of helpful tips along with the sales information.
Step 3: Sell To Your List When someone subscribes to your list, they are saying, “Ok, let me see what you’ve got.“. By building rapport and helping them see how you can solve their problem, they will learn to trust you. When the time comes for them to make a purchasing decision, they are more likely to buy from someone they know.
These steps are actually simple and fairly easy to learn. You can learn about setting up your autoresponder campaign by following our video training at https://blog.trafficwave.net/videos.
Feel free to ask any questions along the way as you go through the training. As you begin to succeed with email marketing, you will wonder why you didn’t start sooner!
