Along with that, I will get the occasional message from someone asking, “What team should I join for best results?”.
I typically just delete those messages. My approach to what some people call a “team build” can be seen here:
So, how do I deal with the “My TrafficWave Sponsor Sucks” complaints?
Sometimes, the complaint is legitimate. Maybe their sponsor never responds or provides any support. If that describes you, let me encourage you to become a responsible sponsor. Reach out to your team. Build a relationship. Teach them how to use these powerful tools in their business.
If you are not showing your team how to use these tools to build their business, you can’t really expect them to stick around. But, if you actually take on a leadership role and show your team how to build their business with these tools, they will have no reason to leave, right?
It might be as simple as you pointing out and reminding them how to get training, where to find our videos, sharing your own successes along the way, etc..
Now, I have also seen the other side of the “My TrafficWave Sponsor Sucks” story. What do I mean? I know one sponsor in particular who personally uses these tools to generate thousands of dollars in sales for his business every month, constantly teaches and reminds his team to learn and use the tools, has done a number of facebook live videos, and webinars with me to help his team. And, I still have some who say, “I never hear from him. I quit.”. They hear from him. They just don’t listen to him. He’s actually a great sponsor. He leads by example and he leads from the front.
And then, they ask, “What team should I join to get better results?” My answer is quite simple:
“Your results won’t come from your team or your sponsor. Your results will come from you learning and using the tools.”
Think of it this way:
Since we launched TrafficWave in the year 2000, my sponsor has never … NOT ONCE … reached out to me, given my any spillover, shown me what to do or how to do it. My TrafficWave Sponsor Sucks! (I don’t actually have a sponsor.)
Yet I continue learning and using these tools to build my own lists and drive sales for my businesses. (I actually do all that stuff I keep teaching.)
Would I prefer that every sponsor be responsible, professional, ethical, reliable, and supportive? Absolutely!

Then, as you are learning and using the tools, you will begin referring others that you will teach to learn and use the tools. As they get results, they will not give a second thought to spending 60 cents per day to build their lists and drive sales. They will stick. They will refer others. Their income from their business will grow. They will begin to see TrafficWave income. Your team will be a success because YOU are following success principles and leading by example!
