While this seems obvious, I see a lot of young entrepreneurs and marketers skipping the very steps that allow them to generate leads automatically.
What are these steps?
You absolutely need a lead funnel system set up so that any time someone visits your web site, they can request your information. This could be as simple as adding a capture form to your web site or blog. When a visitor is interested in learning more about your offer, they can fill out the form.
From there, your Autoresponder follows up, sending information and helping your subscriber learn more about your, your offer, and how you can help them. This helps you build that “know, like, and trust” factor so that those leads can be more easily converted in to paying customers.
We’ve been doing this since the year 2000 here at TrafficWave. Does it generate leads automatically? “Automatically” may not be the right word. We still have to drive traffic to our web site, blog, and capture pages. As we do that, we do see a consistent flow of new leads. As the Autoresponder follows up, we see some of those leads become paying customers. It has worked well for us since early 2000 and we see no signs of it slowing down.
