What is Trello? Trello is a collaboration tool that organizes your projects into boards. In one glance, Trello tells you what’s being worked on, who’s working on what, and where something is in a process.
In this case, the insurance agency is tracking job applicants. Each applicant is to be sent different communication based on where they are in the interview, hiring, and training process.
When a candidate is entered in to the Trello board, they begin receiving an initial welcome email with updates along the way. As they move through the process, their card is moved from one board to the next. Each move results in the candidate being subscribed to a new campaign with content relevant to their current position throughout the process.
As a candidate begins onboarding, a quick drag of the card has them receiving all of the relevant onboarding information. If the candidate is determined to be unsuitable for the job, a quick drag of their card removes them from any further followup.
