Email Only Option Now Available
Many of our members have asked that we allow the collection of email only rather than requiring both name and email. As of December 20, 2015, this option is now available.
Now, when you are creating a new campaign you will have the option to specify “No Name Field” for your capture forms.
To change any existing campaigns, log in to your back office and go to your Campaign Manager.
Click the Profile tab and you will see the option labeled “Define Campaign Data“. Click that option and you will see the ability to select “No Name Field“.
Be sure to scroll down and click “Submit Changes To Data Collection” to save the change.
Your next step will be to edit any letters that are using tokens for names you have been collecting.
It is important to mention that we strongly encourage our users to collect and use name information as personalization in your subject lines and message copy can dramatically influence open rates and click-throughs.
It is a good idea to test your campaigns with and without name information to see if one performs better than the other.
