Is there really such a thing as a network marketing summer slow down? Traditionally, a lot of network marketers tend to slow their recruiting and sales efforts during the summer months. We think this is a mistake and we would like to talk about why.
Summer is a notoriously slow time for network marketing. Families are taking some much needed time to reconnect, take a break from work, catch up with long to-do lists, etc…
So, yes … that network marketing summer slow down does happen. But it doesn’t have to bring your business to a halt.
What the professionals do is shift their focus. They are still building their list of prospects, following up with new prospects, and gathering new customers. But most of their efforts are focused on communicating with their existing customers and distributors.
One of the big ways they accomplish this is through email. By sending out a regular newsletter, you can keep your members and prospects updated. You can let them know about special offers and promotional offers.
This can be a great opportunity to share success stories, talk about what you are doing this summer with your freedom, etc… and just be available for your subscribers.
The biggest reason to keep things moving is to help keep your business and offer “front of mind”. When summer ends, those distributors who have been taking it easy will have to run to catch up while you just put the gas pedal down a little harder to capitalize on the work you have continued doing.
Does the network marketing summer slow down exist? Yes, it does.
Does it have to stop your business growth? No, it does not.
Use it to your advantage to position your business for success when fall kicks in.
