About Email Marketing Footers

footersCampaign footers are a section of content located at the bottom of each email that goes out from your TrafficWave autoresponder campaign. Footers contains information about the sender (you) and links to unsubscribe or manage the subscriber’s information. All of our templates automatically include a campaign footer with default content that we get from your account and campaign details.

In this article, we will go over the types of content we include in your campaign footers.

Anti-spam laws and our own Terms Of Service require certain information to be included in every piece of email you send.

The first section of each footer includes a link that lets your readers view the email as a web page. These links actually get quite a few clicks and make it easier for some emails to be read depending on formatting and what the reader is using to check emails.

The Message Sender Information includes your name, your email address, and your mailing address. The mailing address must be an address where you can receive mail. This cannot be an email address or website. If you work from home and do not want your home address displayed, we recommend getting a post office box or mail service.

The Manage Subscription link is how your users can update any of their information currently in your database. If they need to change a name, an email address, or any custom information you have on file for them, this is the link they will click to make that change.

The Instant Removal link that appears in our footers is how subscribers can opt out of your campaigns. This helps keep your subscriber list clean and your business reputation intact.

The TrafficWave logo appears in all footers. If you are an Affiliate of TrafficWave, the logo is linked to your Affiliate site. If you are not an Affiliate, the logo is linked back to our corporate site.
