Daily List Building Activities
I get asked a lot, so … It’s time for me to share my daily list building activities with you. These are the things I do on a daily basis to make sure I create a constant flow of new leads in my autoresponder campaigns.
What I love about these daily list building activities is that you can actually do all of them without spending a dime. In come cases, I spend some money on promotion. For me, it just makes sense when I know the market is targeted for my offer AND I know I can reach that market faster by spending a little money. As an example, when it comes to traffic exchanges and safe lists … those systems where you earn credits by viewing other ads or sites … I spend the money. I don’t want to spend time looking at ads or clicking links. This doesn’t mean you shouldn’t or that it doesn’t work. We either pay with our money or our time. I just prefer to pay a fee and have my capture pages, banner ads, and text links get shown throughout the network while I’m doing other things.
For the most part, all the things I do are free (financially speaking). I just spend or invest the time to do my social media marketing, create blog content, etc…
So.. are you ready to dive in to my list of daily list building activities?
Content Creation This article is an example of how I use content creation to build my lists. I write new articles throughout the week. Why do I write the article? First, I want to add valuable content. I enjoy writing and I like getting feedback. I also know that if I am adding value, I am getting more exposure which means … my list is going to grow. Your content doesn’t have to be “earth shattering”. Just write about you, your offer, and how you help clients solve problems.
Social Media Once I have created the article and published on the blog, I post on our various social media channels to get the word out. It is pretty common to see clicks coming from Facebook, Linkedin, Instagram, and Twitter very shortly after the article is published. You can do this for free or you can outsource to our Hands Free Social Media Management team.
List Management Because I have subscribers in my list, already, I will send out a broadcast to those subscribers to let them know this information is available. I do this to build that relationship and add value to my readers. Make sense?
Safelists and Traffic Exchanges This is an area where I will spend a few dollars simply because I prefer to spend my time on other activities … almost ANY other activities. So, by spending a few bucks, I get my banners and ads displayed to the various networks.
So do these daily list building activities work? My list keeps growing and sales keep coming in!
Face To Face Networking When I am out and about, whether at a restaurant, playing a gig, or running errands, I am talking to people. When I hear them mention a need I can help them with, I let them know that I’ve got a free report they might find valuable. I can usually add them using my cell phone, right there on the spot.
