Thank you. It is very helpful.

I wish you had this tutorial months ago. It would have really helped me. I had to find and test different plugins before I could get one working just the way I wanted on my blogs.

Very useful information for WordPress bloggers using Trafficwave.

I also place a Trafficwave opt-in form on my WP sites by pasting my form code into a text widget.

I started with Text widgets, myself and still use them. That may be the quickest way to set up a capture form on the WordPress system. I’m starting to branch out and learn more about the capabilities with the various plugins available. The learning never stops!

I use the Randomizer plugin with widgets so that I can randomly rotate various different opt-in offers on a single widget.

The opt in offers on my widget appear above the fold and are generalized offers.

Placing an opt-in box at the end of each blog post is also a great idea. That way, you can make a specific offer each time that matches the content in the blog post.

Is it possible to link a campaign to our blog so that an email is sent automatically to that campaign’s subscribers when we publish a blog post? That would be nice! 🙂

Hi, Lucie. I believe WordPress has a way to submit posts via email so I am assuming that having that email in your autoresponder would get this done. I’ve never tested it, myself. Maybe some of our other users have and can fill us in on their experiences.

I’d like to add something more about integrating TrafficWave with a membership site (or a membership component of a site).

Although TW doesn’t support callback functions or something similar to facilitate the bidirectional communication between TW and a client code, a minimal automation can still be done if you are tech savvy.

What I do is parse new subscriber alert emails and get my information from there to add a new user to the membership component of my site.

It’s all explained here (for the tech savvy guys and gals reading this) :
    http://www.adrianshub.com/automatically-process-new-subscribers-that-join-your-list-heres-how/

It’s a minimal automation for processing new subscribers that join your list, won’t work to update information in TW or to be informed of subscribers updating their information through TW.

I hope this helps TW members who want to do more with their lists!

Awesome training sessions, by the say!

    Adrian

I love Magic Action Box, i tested hundreds before I found that plugin, now on any site i setup for anyone I recommend it (Install The Free Version). I bought it the first day I tried it, it was that easy to implement. I do like the paid version. It is vey easy for people to use and their simplicity makes it ideal for newbies as well, especially to categorize their mailing lists. When I look for things with WP Plugins i always now try and find ones that do the HTML Code so that i can integrate Traffic Wave better into it all.

    Thanks for the Info above

Excuse me for asking this, in case it’s already been answered 100 times elsewhere, but I can’t find it in the wiki, forum or blog.

The question is, does anyone have a suggestion for a good way to add pop-ups/overs with TW in WordPress? I’ve been trying out various plugins with little success.

If there’s already an article or video training on implementing pop ups, please point me in that direction.

I’ve not used any popup plugins, myself. A search in WP for “popup” gives a lot of options, many of which appear to allow you to enter your HTML code for your capture form. Maybe some of our users have used this one and may have some input for us on this or other popup plugins.

Great instructions, just wanted to add one additional FYI …

If you want your Magic Box optin form showing up on all pages of your WordPress site, there’s an easy way to do it. In your dashboard, check your Widgets and you’ll see a Magic Action Box widget there, simply drag and drop it to your side menu and poof! There it is. I did it on my StateGiftsUSA.com site and it looks pretty good there …

I am not sure where exactly to drag and drop the widget of Magic Action Box in the Widget Area. Could you please explain to me the steps to take and into which Widget I should drag and drop it to have it show up on all my pages please. Thank You.

    Hi,
it was an interesting read, but, term integrating does not apply to a process of including opt-in form anywhere. Integrating means that when a visitor sign in a WordPress form (for instance to be a member of a forum), info is sent to the Trafficwave and a visitor is automatically included in a list and vice-versa / if a member choose to end his/her membership. info is sent and list membership ends too!
Is there an option for that?

Awesome tutorials, love the magic box plugin. I follow the tutorial and installed the capture form in my blog. Looks great and works well.
I opted in and tested it and everything works well but I have an issue with my affiliate links in the email autoresponder series. This is the default campaign, the email I receive had the word “username” rather than my affiliate ID in the link URL. I looked at the letters in campaign and they have my affiliate name.
The link in the email i received: http://www.trafficwave.net/members/~username~
    In the campaign letter: http://www.trafficwave.net/members/kevinpola

    Thanks for the Tutorials

Hi, Kevin. That is a “hold out” from the letter editor updates. We have the tech team working on it now. Glad the other components are working well! For now, you may want to manually edit your letters to correct the link issue asap.

Thank you for the tutorials, I followed the steps and installed the capture from after one of the posts, I viewed it and it was there and working well because I subscribed to it. But when I check my blog the post was there but not the capture form. Every time I update the page with the post and view it, the capture form is there. Please help how I can have the capture to show up on my blog for public to see.

Are you adding the form code to a widget? If so, be sure the widget itself is added to your blog so it can be seen.

No Brian, I did not copy the form code to a widget. I just copied it to the plug in like in the tutorials. I have just sent you an email now with a screenshot of the actual installed Lead Capture Page just to help with finding out where I went wrong on my blog.
